PROGRAM DETAILS

Spend time in the morning to visit the Ho Chi Minh complex. You will visit Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, his humble “house on stilts” surrounded with lush gardens. Take a short walk to the unique One-pillar pagoda, a wooden structure built in 1049 that sits on stilts over a small lake which reminds you of a rising lotus. Follow the trip is an orientation drive via colonial quarter to the West Lake before taking a visit to the Temple of Literature, the first university in Vietnam, built in 1070.

Lunch at good local restaurant

In the afternoon. Take a cyclo tour for one hour around the Old Quarter of Hanoi after you pay a short visit to Hoan Kiem Lake and Ngoc Son Temple. This is a fascinating way to relax on the bustling narrow streets and learn more about the local relics and specialties. Finish the day with a traditional water puppet show which is a unique form of arts in northern Vietnam.
